The Tata Punch continues with its existing 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 88PS and 115Nm of torque. The engine is teamed with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes. You can also have it with a factory-fitted CNG kit, where the engine output reduces to 73.5 PS. The Tata Punch CNG is offered only with the manual gearbox.

Tata Punch: New Features Onboard

The Tata Punch gets new features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay connectivity, a revised centre console with armrest and rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger, and a Type-C USB port with fast charging capabilities.

The exterior colour options for the Punch have also changed marginally, depending on the variant selected.

Pure variants get Orcus White and Daytona Grey finishes only; the Adventure and Adventure Rhythm also have a Tropical Mist finish. The sunroof-equipped Adventure trims add a Calypso Red paint shade, and the Accomplished variants are also available in Meteor Bronze. Finally, the Creative variants are available in five dual-tone finishes; the Meteor Bronze one available on the mid-spec variants is replaced by the signature Tornado Blue finish.

It continues to get a 6-speaker Harmon and Kardon system, a push-button start-stop system, automatic climate control, height adjustable driver’s seat, auto fold ORVMs, and a cooled glove box.

Safety features like the tyre pressure monitoring system(TPMS), reverse parking camera, electronic stability program (ESP), and dual-front airbags.

Mechanically and aesthetically, there are no changes to the Punch, and for now, Tata’s smallest SUV offering will continue with just the feature update.
